Nick Diaz Tests Positive For Marijuana And Faces Disciplinary Action Following UFC 143

Let the speculation end.
Nick Diaz tested positive for marijuana metabolites following his UFC 143 Interim Welterweight title bout against Carlos Condit. Diaz dropped the bout via unanimous decision and "retired" in his post-fight interview. Here is what Nevada State Athletic Commissioner Keith Kizer said in various emails sent to MMA media:
The following athletes were tested: Nick Diaz, Carlos Condit, Fabricio Werdum, Josh Koscheck, Renan Barao, Ed Herman, Dustin Poirier, Max Hollaway, Matt Riddle, Henry Martinez, Edwin Figueroa, Alex Caceres, Matt Brown, Chris Cope, Rafael Natal, Michael Kuiper, Stephen Thompson and Dan Stittgen. All results received thus far have been negative, except Mr. Diaz tested positive for marijuana metabolites. A complaint for disciplinary action against Mr. Diaz has been filed.
These are hard times for Nick Diaz, the UFC, and MMA fans alike. Gone is the opportunity for a lucrative rematch with Carlos Condit and potential matchup with Georges St. Pierre. With Diaz likely riding the pine for an extensive amount of time, it will be interesting to see what the UFC does without one of the most popular welterweights in the world to build hype and bring eyes to fights.
Details of disciplinary actions by the NSAC will be released when they are made.

if i could i would smoke that good sticky icky every weekend. alas my job does random so i look at that green purple and blue bud. then tell my friends sorry even though it smells like fruity pebbles. it looks yummy i want to eat this stuff but i must be a responsible adult. i go out and get drunk lol

You can pass the tests if you know how.
Keep in mind if you fail a drug test in the USMC they send you to jail for a month and kick you out with no GI Bill.
(BTW I DO NOT recommend drug use while serving, it’s stupid and not worth it, I’m just crazy like that I guess.

One of the UFC Primetime producers:
“I think that he’s a guy that got into it before this whole thing blew up. He was 16 and dropped out [of school] and that was 12 years ago. The UFC wasn’t what the UFC is now; MMA wasn’t what MMA is now. He didn’t get into this thing at all for the attention, he didn’t bargain for this side of it.

If you go into his house it’s a bunch of fighters that live there. It’s a nice house… There’s Jiu Jitsu mats where the dining room is… There’s like a chandelier hanging over these Jiu Jitsu mats in what should be a dining room but he has no use for that, so there are mats in the room there’s mats all over the place, there’s workout equipment everywhere you look and that’s all he does and that’s not fake."
