Looking at the calender, Memorial Day goes down on May 28th this year. This makes the Memorial Day weekend's Saturday fall on May 26th, which will likely be the day of the event.

Overeem recently sent Brock Lesnar into retirement with a TKO victory at UFC 141. The winner of that bout was promised a title shot against Junior dos Santos, who recently took the belt from Cain Velasquez via KO at UFC on Fox's inaugural event.
