It's 2012! A new year of MMA and twelve more months of degenerate gambling debauchery! Hurray for our vices! To further enable your addiction, we've decided to make a change to the Betting Fix! A scientific poll was administered last month using the most stringent guidelines and imperical evidence, the type of stuff Gallop has wet dreams over, and it was determined in overwhelmning numbers that you sucka's want something for nothing. Welcome to America, baby.
So with this not so surprising news, we have decided to add prizes to the Betting Fix! I will be keeping track of your hypothetical winnings throughout each week to determine who is worthy and who shames their family with failure. A monthly winner and a quarterly winner will be determined (get this) on a monthly and quarterly basis! One important note- negative dollar figures each week will be counted as "0.00" winnings for your tally. Afterall, its hardly fair to have somebody who bet one week be behind someone who didn't bet at all, right?
Top earners for each month will earn the right to create my signature. That's right- anything you want my signature to read, it shall be. ANYTHING! Well, as long as the twins don't ban me for it. I guess everything comes with a stipulation, even ANYTHING!
Top earners for each quarter will earn something much more tangible! I can't release this top secret prize just yet, as the legality of such an awesome piece of bad assery is pending approval from the three Norse Gods and the President himself. But this prize will surely make you popular, and this get you laid.
So join us for the brand new insentivized Betting Fix! We have Strikeforce- Rockhold vs. Jardine coming up tomorrow and like most Strikeforce cards it is chock full of big underdog lines! Lets live on the edge, not wear our seatbelts, and get our bet on! Fight lines are after the jump.

*Sunday "Morning" Edit* To protect the sanctity of our Betting Fix, winners shall now be announced with how many units they walked away with at the end of the fights. We all started with 10 units, but only one of us walked away with something in our pockets last night. Beth landed one of her two bets - The only winning bet made last night . We have all collectively shames our families, but Beth has triumphed by keeping her original 10 units, and walking away with 0.56 extra as well. Momma needs a new pair of shoes! Momma also needs to start thinking about what she wants my signature to be, it seems.

The Rules
- Every week we will be posting the betting odds based off of BetUs.com fight lines.
- Each user will get 10 Units to play for the week to play on any fights in any event.
- Only straight bets will be allowed. No Round Robins or Parlays (for my mathematical sanity)
- At the end of each week, the winner's picks and total units won will be posted!
- Although side wagers (i.e. signature bets, or who has to make the Lethal Lemonades for UFC 130) are not necessary, they are always encouraged.
Betting Explanation
For those of you who aren't degenerate gamblers like myself, don't be turned off by these crazy +/- numbers. It is all actually quite simple. There are only three simplified rules you need to know to start playing
- A "+" means you win more money than you bet, and a "-" means you win less money than you bet (aka the "+" is the underdog, and the "-" is the favorite).
- After the +/- you will see a number. A "+" number indicates how much you win if you bet 100 units (betting 100 units on a "+200" line will win you 200 units. Betting 1 unit on a "+200" line will win your 2 units. Betting 3.4 units on a "+200" line will win you 6.8 units).
- A "-" number indicates how much you need to bet in order to win 100 units (a "-200" line means you need to bet 200 units to win 100. A "-340" line means you need to bet 340 units to win 100.)

I would walk away with 37.5 units when I started with only 10. That’s a good winning! Especially when Mein is far superior in every way to Woodley with the exception of his wrasslin. Woodley might hump Mein to a decision, but i dont think the odds are more than 50/50 that he does

I'm not sure what you just said...
but its 100 divided by the +odd, then multiplied by your bet.
EXAMPLE- if you bet 4 units on a +150 lines it looks like this.
100 divided by 150 = 0.666….. 0.666 x 4 = 2.666. You won 2.666 units.

100 divided by 400 = .25
.25 × 10 = 2.5 units won

It seems like he regressed
Or maybe everyone else just surpassed him and he stayed stagnant. His training… dude started off with a great camp in Miletech’s back in the day, but he hasn’t had a camp like that in years and years and years. It’s like practicing playing basketball with guys that are 5’6 then going into the NBA and expecting great results. Sure, he still has that crazy three point shot that will land hard, but everything else is ruined.
