Miesha Tate vs. Ronda Rousey In Place for Strikeforce Event in Columbus on March 3rd

Miesha Tate and Ronda Rousey haven't been too kind to each other. Thankfully, we will finally get to see them end this feud in the cage.
According to MMA Weekly, Tate and Rousey are being rumored to battle for the Strikeforce women's 135 lbs. strap, according to sources close to the fight. This will be Ms. Rousey's first cut to 135 in mixed martial arts, while Tate will be making her first defense of her belt. The two have been beefing over the place of beauty in the marketing of women's MMA. Miesha seems to be against it, reneging on all of the modeling shots and more candid photos (allegedly!) of her. Ronda takes the "if you got it, flaunt it" side of the argument.
No matter what side of the debate you stand on, this is a bout that will likely feature some fantastic grappling. Tate's wrestling and top control or Rousey's judo and submission skills will probably give us the winner of what is like the most anticipated bout for women's mixed martial arts today.

This is going to about to “hot chicks” fighting than about the skill of the women. I like Rhonda Rousey but she should have had to make her way up the 135 ranks.

I’m so torn. I would like to see Rousey work her way up to 135 instead of getting an immediate title shot. I’d like to see Tate throw Rousey around a bit, but then again, I’m not exactly a Tate fan….
It doesn’t really matter because Kaufman will get that belt back!!
It will be almost a year waiting for the Jones Rashad beef match up and it still might not happen. Fuck rankings, Rousey vs Tate was the right fight to make, fan-wise.
I think Rousey will finish Tate, and finish Kaufman. Easily.
