Video: Nick Diaz And Carlos Condit UFC 143 Pre-Fight Interviews

In these two videos from the UFC leading up to UFC 143, Nick Diaz and Carlos Condit give respective interviews discussing their upcoming fight.

In the first video, Diaz talks about how people perceive him:

"I think people in this sport think I'm crazy. I don't want to be the bad guy. I'm not a bad guy. I'm here to fight, you know, I train to fight."

He also discusses how he views himself as a fighter:

"I think I'm the most well-rounded fighter in the world. I deserve a spot in the pound-for-pound rankings and that's what I'm fighting for."

Diaz also discusses Condit (and how he's better than Georges St. Pierre) and what his best fighting qualities are, but still expects to walk away with a victory.

"Diaz is very good with his hands. He does what he does very, very well. It's not only that he's good with his hands but he also has a relentless pace and relentless cardio."

"Mostly I'm impressed with his toughness. He's got some great skills - good boxing, good jiu-jitsu - but just his warrior spirit. I feel like I'm a more technical fighter than he is. I have more weapons in my arsenal. I just bring some different stuff to the table. I have good movement, I use angles and Diaz for the most part just comes straight forward."

Condit also notes that he has been training for the fight since July and he wants to show the fans and other welterweights in the UFC what the new Carlos Condit is all about.
