Video: Arianny Celeste Cannot Contain Her Excitement for Alistair Overeem

With UFC 141 in the books, it is now time to reflect on an excellent night of fights and atmosphere. Alistair Overeem dropped Brock Lesnar with a kick that likely made Bas Rutten and Michael Schiavello send giddy schoolgirl texts to each other. Nate Diaz Stockton-slapped Donald Cerrone all over Las Vegas. Jim Hettes tossed Nam Phan around like Chael Sonnen's grappling dummy. And Arianny Celeste fell in love with Alistair Overeem at the weigh-ins.

The scary part about this entire thing is that Arianny and I might have reacted pretty similarly to Alistair weighing in. I sincerely hope Miss Celeste doesn't take away my man crush. Oh, the horse burgers we would eat! Anyway, a big congratulations to Alistair looking impressive in his fight against Brock "Brockle Snar" Lesnar. The potential Overeem-dos Santos matchup will test elite kickboxing against some of the top MMA boxing, as well as strength versus speed and power versus power. I'm sure Arianny and I, along with any other single female and jealous male, are looking forward to that fight.

Haha yeah that was great, she was in awe of this Adonis. Chandella’s reaction to Brock going beast mode for a second at the weigh-ins was cool as well. AO is cool and all, but I’ll be looking for JDS to stretch him with that hydraulic piston of an uppercut that he uses so well.

Anderson Silva, Edson Barboza, Jose Aldo, Charles Oliveira, Thiago Alves = Muay Thai wrecking machines!

And as far as my Reem mancrush goes, I agree. Alistair looked a bit weary of Brock’s power and was working really hard to clinch up. JDS will not be in the same spot if Alistair wants to clinch up. He’ll be on the outskirts of his arms, throwing a devastating punch. Goodnight I-Reem.

Well

Alistair really, really loves the clinch, so I’m sure he’ll try to use it on JDS. The only problem is that JDS is a MUCH better striker than Brock and has some really sick power. I’m not too familiar with AO, but has he ever really knocked an opponent to the ground with his hands? I believe the finish from his fight against Rogers came from AO “simply” shrugging Rogers to the ground and following up with gnp and in most of his K-1 fights, his ridiculous knee opened up combinations for his hands, but I don’t recall ever really seeing him blast a guy with his hands alone at hw. I’m saying that because I don’t believe that he’ll have much success clinching with JDS, so it could very well be more of a boxing match than a muay thai session and JDS’ hands are fucking scary.

Yeah, I agree. Alistair has power in his hands, but his truly scary power lies in his clinch knees.

I believe Overeem overall is the better striker, but Overeem has shown he does not have the greatest chin. Combined with Dos Santos’ devastating boxing, JDS by ktfo.

God help me, I lusted, and there is a promise in such sweat. But it is a whore's vengeance, and you must see it; I set myself entirely in your hands. I know you must see it now.

Ben Edwards

He destroyed Ben Edwards with overhand rights in K1. And he used his hands against Todd Duffee too.

I’m a fighter. I’m a real fighter. That’s all I did my whole life." - BJ Penn

Oh, ok then. Thanks for the info. I’ve only seen a few of AO’s K-1 fights and really only his fight against Brock and Rogers as far as mma is concerned.

I thought her reaction was fabulous.

She’s usually so stone faced. The Reem does that to a lady.
