The Betting Fix - UFC on FX: Jim Miller vs. Melvin Guillard Betting Odds and Fight Lines

So here we go kiddies. Welcome to a long line of Friday Night Fights put on by the lovely folks at Zuffa and FOX. Mark your calendars, tell Siri to give you a heads up, set your alarm, prepare your DVR's, and let your Grandman know what's up. It's happening whether you like it or not, so I suggest you jump on the proverbial bandwagon before it gets too crowded and you have to sit next to Mountaineers. He will drool on your during your voyage- this is fact. So get on while the gettin' gets good!

There's bound to be a plethora of awesome streaming forth through your cable television with fights like Melvin Guillard vs. Jim Miller, Pat Barry vs. Christian Morecraft, and Jorge Rivera vs. Eric Schafer. So join us in our fruitless advance towards our theoretical dreams of hypothetical riches! Does that sentence make sense? Possibly. Will you make cents from the Betting Fix? *Sunday Morning Edit* We have a weiner! winner! Ms. Rachel of Hearts came in with a fatty winning this week, turning her 10 units into 15.26 while riding the Pat Barry train to riches! I came in a close second, failing due to not letting it all ride on Barry. I'll learn from this one. Kat killed it as always, and Mr. Tim Burke of BE debuted this season with a health dose of winning. Nice! This week's numbers are below.

The Rules

- Every week we will be posting the betting odds based off of BetUs.com fight lines.

- Each user will get 10 Units to play for the week to play on any fights in any event.

- Only straight bets will be allowed. No Round Robins or Parlays (for my mathematical sanity)

- At the end of each week, the winner's picks and total units won will be posted!

- Although side wagers (i.e. signature bets, or who has to make the Lethal Lemonades for UFC 130) are not necessary, they are always encouraged.

Betting Explanation

For those of you who aren't degenerate gamblers like myself, don't be turned off by these crazy +/- numbers. It is all actually quite simple. There are only three simplified rules you need to know to start playing

- A "+" means you win more money than you bet, and a "-" means you win less money than you bet (aka the "+" is the underdog, and the "-" is the favorite).

- After the +/- you will see a number. A "+" number indicates how much you win if you bet 100 units (betting 100 units on a "+200" line will win you 200 units. Betting 1 unit on a "+200" line will win your 2 units. Betting 3.4 units on a "+200" line will win you 6.8 units).

- A "-" number indicates how much you need to bet in order to win 100 units (a "-200" line means you need to bet 200 units to win 100. A "-340" line means you need to bet 340 units to win 100.)
