Breaking news just came in from Uncle Dana's Twitter! Dana White just broke the news that Mark Munoz is injured and will not be able to compete against Chael Sonnen for next weekend's UFC on Fox 2. Sonnen will now take on Michael Bisping for the right to take on Anderson Silva for the middleweight belt. Per Dana:
Munoz is injured and out of the FOX fight! Now it's Chael Sonnen vs Mike Bisping jan 28th and the winner will fight Anderson for the title.
This is big news. On one side, it is sad to see Munoz lose his chance to fight for a title due to injury. On another, Sonnen and Bisping are two of the most polarizing figures in the sport and have the braggadocio to prove it. Both men will not be afraid to sell this fight to the fullest.
Next weekend's main card will feature Michael Bisping vs. Chael Sonnen and Phil Davis vs. Rashad Evans for a shot at Jon Jones' light heavyweight belt. We will keep you posted on what bouts get pushed up to Fox or if there will just be two fights.

The bottom line is Georges is being a little bitch. He didn’t step up and say anything when the UFC pulled me out of this fight. I understand sometimes you have to do what you’re told, but why wouldn’t you tell the media you still want to fight me? If I was Georges, I would want to fight the best. I would have asked for the Anderson Silva fight. I would have asked to fight the Strikeforce champ. But he sits there like a robot and doesn’t say anything at all, just like he’s not going to say anything about me calling him a bitch now. If I saw BJ Penn walking down the street and called him a bitch, we would be fighting right there on the spot. — Nick Diaz

I think that’s a fight too soon for him. He should have at least 2 more big fights before he fights someone like Maia.
