UFC 142 Weigh-In Results And Photos
Weigh-ins for UFC 142 in Brazil are now complete. Everyone made weight with one glaring exception. Anthony 'Rumble' Johnson came in a whopping 12 pounds over for his middleweight fight with Vitor 'The Phenom' Belfort, weighing in at 197 pounds. 197! That is not a typo! In order for the fight to still happen, Johnson needs to make sure he keeps his weight under 205 so if he actually did try to cut weight for this fight, he better keep it off. That might be easier said than done. Now, everyone go eat sandwiches and drink electrolytes! Except you, Rumble.
Featherweight Championship: Jose Aldo (145) vs. Chad Mendes (145)

mmmm
The bottom line is Georges is being a little bitch. He didn’t step up and say anything when the UFC pulled me out of this fight. I understand sometimes you have to do what you’re told, but why wouldn’t you tell the media you still want to fight me? If I was Georges, I would want to fight the best. I would have asked for the Anderson Silva fight. I would have asked to fight the Strikeforce champ. But he sits there like a robot and doesn’t say anything at all, just like he’s not going to say anything about me calling him a bitch now. If I saw BJ Penn walking down the street and called him a bitch, we would be fighting right there on the spot. — Nick Diaz
There is a rummor floating around that it was for medical reasons.
It sounds like he cut too hard and had to be rehydrated. But that makes me think, if he’s hydrated and only 11 lbs over HOW DID HE NOT MAKE WEIGHT? That is absolutely crazy to me.

Belfort really got fucked.
