You remember that song "The Safety Dance?" And how if your friends didn't dance, then they were no friends of mine? That is how I feel about Chael Sonnen. Sure, people don't dig the pro wrestling promotion and bashing of one of the greatest fighters ever. Drawing some inspiration from the sports entertainment world to gain some marketability and fans didn't always get boohooed...right, Muhammad Ali? Whether you think Chael really is some xenophobic neanderthal or has some great shtick, to fight and market your way from an undercard talent in the WEC to challenger to Anderson Silva's throne is something that deserves some respect. Now imagine if Chael had a spot on TV to do that...

UFC Tonight, a new upcoming show on Fuel TV, will be having Chael Sonnen on periodically to do a segment called "Chael's Corner." Needless to say, we can expect a whole lot of Sonnen's brand of humor and a lot of Patrick Bateman-like looks, such as the one featured at the end of the clip.

Depending on how you view Chael, this could help or hinder the show's success. Sonnen was a well-spoken, intelligent, and insightful analyst of the sport on MMA Live. Giving him a segment to cut promos that would make C.M. Punk blush might not be what some are looking for though. Either way, people will undoubtedly watch.
