Unless the Facebook prelims are delayed (as they tend to be), we'll be live in just a few minutes with UFC on Versus 5. Tonight brings us 8 prelims, featured on Facebook, and 4 main card fights live on Versus. Facebook prelims are scheduled to start at 5:45 eastern, and the Versus card airs at 9 eastern. Just to remind you, we will be posting the results of each fight after the jump, so beware of spoilers.

Because I roll with larger people I almost always start it in half gaurd
then when they’re too busy defending the choke I’ll slip over into side control and finish there because I have a little more leverage. I don’t go for D’arces very often. I’m not particularly good at them.

hmm that's odd.
I’d say that either A) maybe he was waiting for Castillo to take the bait a little bit more and rock into his torso to get a better choke. or B) maybe he just got the jitters and got a little confused how to finish it. I didn’t see the fight so that’s the best analysis I can give you. But that is odd. Even if you forgot the submission you’d THINK that he would stay in side control because of how dominant the position is.

He did it like 5-6 times I'd say
Over the course of 3 rounds. He had it very tight a few times and felt he could have finished… but that’s just me from the sidelines

I saw a highlight vid of him when he was first signed with the UFC… I honest to god thought that was all he could do (strike). And I’m still not convinced he’s a wrestler, no matter how much Rogan pushes his ‘wrestling credentials’. I can go right now and out-wrestle every kindergartener at my kids’ school and be the champ, that doesn’t mean I can wrestle.

yeah they handled it pretty well.

I dont think so. At least not yet. Who knows maybe he sold his news integrity for the spot, but I haven’t seen such so far personally. I like how he calls his questions and how he brings up everything
