"I have a life and things to take care of. The fight game is about making the right choices of my career. If you knew what I have been going through you all would understand. Peaking for a fight is what makes a fighter unstoppable! Timing is everything in life. This is a rebuild year for me not do or die. The time will come again! #positive" - A Tweet from Tito Ortiz explaining why he didn't step in to take a fight against Rashad Evans at UFC 133 next month

I think this is a very smart choice on his part.

He’s coming off of a fight nobody expected him to win. Going in against a top contender with one months notice would be a bad decision.

It's weird...

But, Tito’s explanation makes complete sense to me.

Hmmm...

Seems like Tito said somewhere that he’d be ready to fight a couple of weeks after the Bader fight. Can’t find it right now though. However, he knows very well that this would be a bad fight for him to take. Can’t blame him at all.

LOL

I don’t bother with Twitter enough to remember whether I follow Tito or not (and I sure as hell don’t follow DFW), but yeah, it was on Facebook that Tito accepted the fight. Guess he reconsidered. He needs to reconsider reconsidering…I really like the dumb bastard, and have this irrational (or not) fear that he’s going to fail epically and flunk out of the UFC… /facepalm
