Oh my the drama. While I was never a passenger on the Nate Marquardt fan bus, I hate to see a guy go out like that. Especially a guy with a wife and children to support. Bloody Elbow has been all over the story today. They're such good boys. They leave me time to think about much more important things (i.e. the True Blood season premiere). Let's do this thing people.

I feel bad for Ken, in that, he’s in financial trouble.
But on the other hand, he must have made some money in his day. Between the UFC, PRIDE, and the WWF he’s got no excuse to be so bad off. I don’t know the story, but it seems like must have made some good money at one time.

When I saw that yesterday
I asked my husband “hey guess what freakshow fight they came up with today.”
His first guess was Mike Tyson (keep wishing bud) but he came up with Ken Shamrock. Took a while to get James Toney.
Ninja looked like crap.
I was disappointed. And I’m pretty sure the ref should have stopped the fight a time or two there in the second round.

Barbecue'd pork rinds?
Back in the 90’s, one of the well-known rappers at the time had a line of pork-rind products on sale in the south.
When the low carb diet was the shiz, I used to eat pork rinds with cream cheese. Surprisingly delicious.

1. I’m a girl, they’re less likely to pick on the females
2. I had seats FAR FAR AWAY from the miscreants in the bleachers. Nice ones.

A year ago, same here.
I’ve only been seriously running since last August’ish. I just want to keep it up, and hopefully get to 10 minute miles.
One more 9k this year I think, and then a half marathon in October. If I don’t make it back after that race, I love you all. And probably Pat Barry the most. No, BJ Penn. No wait… I can’t choose.

My step-sister-in-law always does the home-birthing thing. I’m sure it’s a great bonding experience for the family and all, but I’ll be having my children in a medical facility with professionals who can keep away questionable family members who are just there to gawk, thanks.
