PrintFor those of you who don't know who these two ladies are, you shame your family. These two are both in the top 10 pound for pound female fighter list easily. Tara LaRosa has been the #1 fighter at 125 lbs for years and years, while Roxi has been that crazy BJ Pennish fighter who will go with anyone at any time at any weight. She has finally come down to her ideal weight of 125 lbs recently and she looks great.
For those of you who missed Moosin: Gods of War, let me fill you in. First- there was a lot of Polish people. We had Marius Pudzianowski turn purple as Tim Sylvia punched him mercilessly, and Bas Rutten try to save an announcing booth from going full tard on us. There was also some creepy dude in the audience who stared into our souls.
The highlight of the evening is why we all really showed up- Roxanne Modafferi vs. Tara LaRosa. The rematch lived up to the expectations set by their exciting first meeting. Just check it out for yourself. Then try telling me that female fights aren't exciting. Pssshhhhttt....

Anderson Silva would never fight "Bones". He is too scared to fight the real P4P champion. Nick Diaz, the man who will prove to the MMA world that he is the best WW in the world. Still public enemy #1 and enjoying every minute of it.

Maaaaaaaaybe. Its an all round great match. Super props go to larosa for comin back out in round 2 like round 1 never happened.
These girls are 1-1 both close fights. Can’t wait for the rubber match. Really hope its on a big stage.

excellent fight tho i doubt a trilogy happens.
Strikeforce aka ufc isnt gonna be signing any new girls. Bellator doesnt have any women tourney’s comin up or any knd of 135 lbs division. That leaves jewel, valkyrie or something like a shark fights or ring of fire. The first two are out coz its japan, and these small but big by regional standard shows only want to pit them against their own prospects or draws. kind of a downer!

Roxi is lookin to be on the next jewels card. tara is signed with shark fights at the moment. They are trying to work out larosa v. Zingano which would be aaaaaawesome.
They are both 125ers. So doesn’t matter what strikeforce is doin, less its exapandin the divisions which there hasn’t been any indication.

I’ve never seen a boring match with either girl… unless you are one of those “fans” who don’t like intense grappling ala roxi v kaufman or roxi v sexton
