Gals Guide to MMA Betting Fix: UFC 130 Fight Lines

You may not know, but there is a pandemic in America that is about to become an epidemic. I assume the difference between a pandemic and an epidemic is the "epic". Yes an epic demic. This is no ordinary pan demic (which I assume has something to do with bread).

People- be worried. Alligators have infested the borders of Minnesota. Their forces have been aligned perfectly with the imaginary lines produced by society... for now. The Dakotas are safe....for now. 

I hear your frantic concerns. "But how could Gators survive the frigid landscape that is the Sota borders, my beautiful little man???" The answer is simple- robotics. Not to mention the fact that dead alligators don't need the swamp. That's right people! There's a pandemic of robotic zombie alligators out there, and they are gonna getcha! Just ask faithful GG2MMA read RachelofHearts. She fought off a congregation of these unholy beasts but a fortnight ago using nothing but a spork and her laser vision eyeballs.

Once again, I hear your frantic concerns. "Thank you so much for the warning! But what does this have to do with betting on MMA??? And is there even time to bet?" People, this has EVERYTHING to do with MMA. People often call those who collect our losses "loan sharks" but in reality this is just wordplay put on by the man. Lies and propaganda. Anyone in the in knows that robotic zombie alligators reap the benefits of our betting mistakes.

The only way to save Sota and most likely the rest of the Western Hemisphere is simple- bet. Bet bet bet like you've never bet before....wait...scratch that. Bet like you know what you are doing! Together we can bankrupt "loan sharks"and take back Sunday! (and Monday-Saturday too I suppose).

The Rules

- Every week we will be posting the betting odds based off of BetUs.com fight lines. 

- Each user will get 10 Units to play for the week to play on any fights in any event.

- Only straight bets will be allowed. No Round Robins or Parlays (for my mathematical sanity)

- At the end of each week, the winner's picks and total units won will be posted!

- Although side wagers (i.e. signature bets, or who has to make the Lethal Lemonades for UFC 130) are not necessary, they are always encouraged.

Betting Explanation

For those of you who aren't degenerate gamblers like myself, don't be turned off by these crazy +/- numbers. It is all actually quite simple. There are only three simplified rules you need to know to start playing

- A "+" means you win more money than you bet, and a "-" means you win less money than you bet (aka the "+" is the underdog, and the "-" is the favorite).

- After the +/- you will see a number. A "+" number indicates how much you win if you bet 100 units (betting 100 units on a "+200" line will win you 200 units. Betting 1 unit on a "+200" line will win your 2 units. Betting 3.4 units on a "+200" line will win you 6.8 units). 

- A "-" number indicates how much you need to bet in order to win 100 units (a "-200" line means you need to bet 200 units to win 100. A "-340" line means you need to bet 340 units to win 100.)
