PrintOur beloved Midge is otherwise occupied today, so it falls to me to bring you the GG2MMA betting game for Bellator 44. Midge will return to do the math after the event. That's a good thing, because math hates me and I'm afraid the feeling is mutual. But anyway, come wager theoretical money and see if you do better than we do! That's generally not too hard. Really. So bet away, and if you win you will receive our hearty congratulations, and if you lose, we'll commiserate together and promise that next time, we'll be more careful how we wager our fake money...

The Rules
- Every week we will be posting the betting odds based off of BetUs.com fight lines.
- Each user will get 10 Units to play for the week to play on any fights in any event.
- Only straight bets will be allowed. No Round Robins or Parlays (for my mathematical sanity)
- At the end of each week, the winner's picks and total units won will be posted!
- Although side wagers (i.e. signature bets, or who has to make the Lethal Lemonades for UFC 130) are not necessary, they are always encouraged.
Betting Explanation
For those of you who aren't degenerate gamblers like myself, don't be turned off by these crazy +/- numbers. It is all actually quite simple. There are only three simplified rules you need to know to start playing
- A "+" means you win more money than you bet, and a "-" means you win less money than you bet (aka the "+" is the underdog, and the "-" is the favorite).
- After the +/- you will see a number. A "+" number indicates how much you win if you bet 100 units (betting 100 units on a "+200" line will win you 200 units. Betting 1 unit on a "+200" line will win your 2 units. Betting 3.4 units on a "+200" line will win you 6.8 units).
- A "-" number indicates how much you need to bet in order to win 100 units (a "-200" line means you need to bet 200 units to win 100. A "-340" line means you need to bet 340 units to win 100.)

UPDATE!!! It appears that Anthony "Cheesesteak" Morrison was a bit confused about what weight class he was cutting for, and weighed in for his bantamweight fight at 146.5 lbs. Hell, that's over even for featherweight... anyway, the fight is off. Not that anyone had wagered on it so far, but FYI.

Jon " Bones " Jones new UFC light heavyweight champion. Even if Jones got struck flush in the face he would recover and defeat whoever is in front of him. I told everyone the fight would be easy. Anderson Silva would never fight "Bones". He is too scared to fight the real P4P champion. Nick Diaz, the man who will prove to the MMA world that he is the best WW in the world.

Don't get me wrong
I won’t be surprised if Lombard takes him out quickly. I just think the betting odds are atrociously insulting to Vitale and he’s easily the best risk to take on the card.
