OH: Miguel Torres Returns to the UFC After Rape Tweet Controversy

After all the smoke has cleared, it appears that Miguel Torres is once again a UFC bantamweight. Per Ariel Helwani, it appears that Dana was impressed with Miguel's actions after the release. Helwani tweeted the picture above with this statement:

Helwani also reported why Dana was so pleased with Mr. Torres in two other tweets:

Dana says Torres is back. Torres has donated money to local rape centers, visited them. Dana says Torres was very remorseful.

Dana says Torres handled his business like a man and no one told him to do it. Torres very emotional.

It is very good to see Dana relent, as he is usually not very remorseful if he gets his mind set on something. It is also excellent to see Miguel take responsibility for what was said and take the necessary actions to make up for it. You could make the argument that Miguel did this just to get his spot back in the UFC. Truthfully, it'd be hard to disagree. But him taking action is good enough for me and it should be good enough for his job back.
