The Ultimate Fighter 14: Episode 6 Recap

Tuf141_medium

I think it may be official.  Donna and I are really starting to dislike Bisping.  It was a nice run while it lasted, but he's really laying on the douche thick lately isn't he?  We're going to wait awhile to make our final judgement but it's not looking good for Bisping.  If we jump ship, he'll lose 50% of his American fans.  Not good.

Let's see how we do this week.  Last week featured major feats of testosterone douchery.  I'm hoping that we'll be spared this week, but I'm not too sure.  They start right off talking about the tap that wasn't by Akira.  I mean, it sucks that Herb Dean didn't catch the tap (and he did tap) but Nease was kind of a dick anyway so I'm not too devastated.  I dislike the both equally.    There's a little coaches squabble after the fight.  Apparently, Bisping has forgotten that this is his team's first win.

They spend some time showing the training with Siler and Brandao.  I'm totally rooting for Siler on this one.  I love that he beat the guy who was expected to win the whole show to get into the house.  Plus, Brandao's fits of rage really turn me off.

Siler vs. Brandao

Round One.  Brandao starts the round by trying a flying knee.  It fails.  He looks lame.  He's angry and proceeds to knock out Siler.  Oh well.  Bisping proceeds to show himself as a class act but talking shit in the cage.  Douche.  He makes it even better by following them to their changing rooms while mocking them.  Hmmm.  Class act.

Roland Delorme shows up to the gym with a ridiculously swollen right foot.  Miller decides to keep it quiet until they know what's going on.

Bisping finally gets to pick the fights.  He proceeds to lecture them all about how some bullshit.  I get it that he gets further in the UFC by having people hate him because that's all he really has going for him, but come on.  Dodson, who Bisping says is practically a member of Team Bisping, will be fighting John Albert.  Next, TJ will be fighting Roland.  I have to be honest, I didn't even know who TJ was when they showed him on the camera.  Way to not make an impact, buddy.  Oh my goodness, Michael Bisping has put me in a rage.  Dammit!

Dodson vs. Albert

Round One.  They're punching each other.  Yada, yada, yada.  They're kicking each other.  Yada, yada, yada.  Albert gets gassed with two minutes left.  Yada, yada, yada.  Now they both look gassed.  Round's over.

Round Two.  I've completely stopped paying attention.  I'd call this one of the more boring fights of this season.  They're both gassed like heavyweights.  Disappointing.  I'm doing some Christmas shopping online now.  Dodson wins by decision.  Whatevs.

What's wrong with me

I haven’t watched a single episode ALL SEASON. I really need to catch up. And clear space off my DVR.

Good season so far, lots of legit talent.

Bisping is his usually douchey self.

Don't believe the hyperbole, it's like a murder spree, get sniped verbally.
