Todd Duffee Was Released by the UFC
I was really surprised to hear that Todd Duffee was released by the UFC on Tuesday after only two fights with them, the last which ended in a loss for him, and two more fights on his contract. Duffee spoke with MMAJunkie and made the following bosom hug deserving comment:
"Emotionally, I'm hurt. I'm hurt more than anything because I don't know why. As a man, you just want to hear why so you can understand."
You can read the rest of the article here. I usually expect these types of cuts to happen immediately after a loss, but Duffee hasn't fought for almost four months. I wonder what precipitated this cut. Regardless, Duffee can now focus all of his attention on his obvious new career path - movie action/super hero. Is this guy just perfect for an action movie or what? There's got to be a new Universal Soldier coming up, no?
What do we think about this, kids? Does Duffee deserve a bosom hug? Do you not give a crap?

Apparently he's a bit of a dick.
That’s the word on him anyway…

His manager said it.
HIS manager, that tells me something.
He’s young, it’s a life lesson.

Yup
His manager texted… who was it. Kevin Iole or some other MMA journalist saying that he tried to talk DW out of it, but Duffee is just an asshole and it was inevitable. So theres the rumor.
I’ve also heard elsewhere it had to do with him turning down fights- lots of them (hence 4 months, no injuries. no fight. no fight announcement)
Perhaps it was the combination of factors.
Even a broken clock is right two times a day.
anybody who thought nelson had a chance vs jds should be kicked out of the ufc.
they had footage of him at a bar with friends watching the fight and his prediction was nelson would win. sucker.
I'm all about covering the spread and moneylines. Glory favors the bold. Chance favors the prepared mind. Luck, well i have that too. University of Utah goes to the Pac-12 conference in 2011. I expect them to compete immediately for the conference CG. Brock Lesnar will defeat Cain Velasquez. Womens MMA, the next big thing in sports. Utah and Boise take care of business in week one. Don't be surprised if they both go undefeated.
