Warning! If you make these brownies, it's guaranteed that at least 1 person will hump your leg and call you a goddess. Seriously folks, these things are ridiculous, and super easy to make.
Take Your Hands Off Maia Brownies
Ingredients
- 1 cup margarine or butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 4 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 cup all-purpose flour or unbleached flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 8 ounces (8 squares) semi-sweet chocolate (coarsely chopped)
- 1 cup pecans, chopped (optional)
Directions
Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 13 by 9-inch pan. In medium saucepan over low heat, melt margarine. Add sugar, vanilla and eggs; blend well. Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off. Stir in flour, cocoa and salt; mix well. Add chocolate and pecans. Pour into prepared pan. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes or until set. Cool. Cut into 36 bars.
Note
The brownies will be very gooey on bottom. Spray the knife with some cooking spray to help make them easier to cut apart.

Keep your hands off MAIA brownies!
ha! One question..
What the fuck is with the pecans? You and I both know that the “optional” last ingredient is one cup of primo chebah. when made properly, these brownies will leave you unconscious (similar to fighting Maia)

For those of us keeping it simple...
(and by simple I mean legal, lol) I’d just substitute dark chocolate cocoa roasted almonds for the pecans. Besides, if you’re drinking this while doing this, you won’t need any help reaching unconciousness. :)

I'm partial to Martha Stewart's Double Chocolate Brownies
Made them one for a party, they went pretty fast.

By the way, if you’re not a big double boiler person (I’m not) you can also microwave the ingredients at power level 50% for 1 minute, then in 30 second intervals at power level 50% after that until it is melted. Keeps it from burning. Do NOT be tempted to go 30 seconds at full power – it doesn’t work.
Damn you microwave!!!!!!
