USA Today/SBN Rankings for July 2010

Our super secret boyfriends at Bloody Elbow have posted their latest MMA rankings. You can check out all of the fun here.

The most noticeable change for me was the dropping of some dude named Fedor to second place on the heavyweight list and the jump of some guy named Brock to first place. Do we agree, my friends? I sure do. But I've always been somewhat of a follower.

What do we think about Jon Fitch being numero dos on the welterweight list? I don't know if I agree, but that could be because he puts me into a coma of boredom a lot of the times that he fights. Although I must say his caveman chic appearance always makes me a little tingly.

We all knew Brock going to #1 would happen, although I AM surprised there isn’t more outrage about it.

I think Fitch has to be #2 because, while he may not be fun to watch, I can’t think of anyone not named GSP that could beat him.

It's such a tough call

On paper Kos is better than Fitch, but I see less exploitable holes in Fitch so I guess I would hesitantly go with him.

I'm all about covering the spread and moneylines. Glory favors the bold. Chance favors the prepared mind. Luck, well i have that too. University of Utah goes to the Pac-12 conference in 2011. I expect them to compete immediately for the conference CG. I still will always follow the Mountain West Conference. Brock Lesnar will defeat Cain Velasquez and face the winner of Junior Dos Santos vs Roy Nelson where he will defeat JDS and stake his claim as pound for pound champion. Womens MMA, the next big thing in sports. 5 weeks till the first game of college football. UTAH vs Pitt. September 2nd 2010.
