I know Monday is a special day for you all, as you run over to our site to see what MMA action you have to look forward to this week. Satarma passed the posting reins over to us this week so, sorry, you're stuck with us. Let's get on with it, shall we?
UFC on Versus
August 1st at 9 PM
It's finally time for some more UFC action. This Sunday we'll get to see Jon Jones take on Vladimir "The Janitor" Matyushenko. I'm not so sure how I feel about this fight. I hate to say it's a gimme for Jones, but... Also to be broadcast are fights between Mark Munoz and Yushin Okami, John Howard and Jake Ellenberger, and Tyson Griffin and Takanori Gomi.

john howard is the luckiest fighter alive
After those split decisions and 1 punch KO’s after getting his ass handed tohim in a basket ill never bet against him ever again…
I really want to throw down on ellenberger though.

I’m interested to see how Gomi does with this fight. I know a lot of people wrote him off after Florian subbed him, but I guess I still have a little spark of hope for him to come in and fight like the old days.

Florian is an amazing fighter
Gomi is no world beater, but I’m not convinced he can’t survive in the UFC.
