Bellator Women's Tournament Complete
Bellator announced today the 8th and final participant in their Season 3 women's tournament. Jessica Aguilar rounds out the tourney, which will begin on August 12 and will air on Fox Sports Net, Thursday nights at 8pm. The full list of fighters:
Megumi Fujii (20-0)
Lisa Ward (12-5)
Angela Magana (9-4)
Rosi Sexton (10-1)
Jessica Pene (7-0)
Lynn Alvarez (5-1)
Aisling Daly (9-0)
Jessica Aguilar (8-3)
We've already had a chance to see Fujii and Ward in Bellator events the past couple of weeks, and tomorrow night Rosi Sexton will be fighting. Every one of these women is considered to be in the top 10 of their weight class. I can't wait - this tourney should be awesome.
For more Bellator goodness, check out this interview BE's Luke Thomas did with Bellator CEO Bjorn Rebney. It's good stuff.

What made me especially happy is, after they announced the last girl for the tourney, I read that interview and found out that they’re trying to fix the problem with FSN where they’re preempted in some areas. Which reminds me, I need to make sure it’s going to be on here tonight…

bellator is smart to have women's fight. i think it's a very untapped market that people want to see.
I'm all about covering the spread and moneylines. Craig Thompson just might end up being a savvy guy if he gets the MWC to 12 teams. The University of Utah starts in the Pac-Ten in 2011. Now remember, when things look bad and it looks like you're not gonna make it, then you gotta get mean, I mean plumb, mad dog mean. cause if you lose your head and you give up then you neither live or win. That's just the way it is. "The Outlaw Josey Wales". To protect the sheep you gotta catch the wolf, and it takes a wolf to catch a wolf. "Training Day". Rashad will beat Rua b/c he is a far superior wrestler and a bad matchup for him. 2/1 odds. Josh Koscheck will dethrone Gsp and win the welterweight title. Last man to win a round vs Gsp. 2.9/1 odds on that too. Peace.

i have a feeling wolfy here is gonna be howlin at the betting lines
Much like wec undercards, I bet the line makers will be poorly educated and make some horrible…rrr… wonderful lines!
Andyes I hope bellator fixes it fsn issues. Their ratings were amaaazing this year and have much more leverage now.
