Brandon Vera vs. Jon Jones - This one's a toughy. My inclination is to follow the herd and go for Jones. However, I think that Vera desperately needs a win and he knows this. However, I'm in a following mood today so I'm going for Jones.
Junior Dos Santos vs. Gabriel Gonzaga - Does anyone really think that Gonzaga is going to win this one?
Cheick Kongo vs. Paul Buentello - I think Kongo is going to knock Buentello on his ass.
Alessio Sakara vs James Irvin - Most people are picking Irvin for this one. I, however, have a deep and abiding respect for the power of ring rust. I'm giving this one to Sakara.
Donna's Picks - I'm feeling super sassy today, so I'm also going to call the win. God help me!
Alessio Sakara vs. James Irvin - I'm already preparing myself to settle in for a mediocre fight. I don't find either one of these guys overly impressive, and I'd much rather be watching the Guida or Marshall fights. Sakara by decision.
Cheick Kongo vs. Paul Buentello - I totally get the respect people have for Buentello, which is a respect that I share. By his hey day is long past, and Kongo is a looking to prove himself after his last two fights. Kongo by first round TKO.
Junior Dos Santos vs. Gabriel Gonzaga - No question that Gonzaga is a beast, but I think Dos Santos is on a roll. If he can avoid going down in the first round, he's going to win this one. Dos Santos by decision.
Brandon Vera vs. Jon Jones - Jones is one of the most exciting fighters out there right now. His fights are so much fun to watch. That being said, he hasn't seen anyone as good as Vera, and I think Vera has the Eye of the Tiger right now. Vera by decision.

Sakara in a bore fest because Irvin has been out for so long.
Kongo is going to kick the shit out of a gassed Buentello.
Jones in a beatdown on the ground. People say Vera’s wrestling is good enough for him to stay upright. They said the same thing about Hammil and Jones broke one of his bones with the first takedown. People say Vera will be hungry for this fight. They’ve been saying that for the last four years. People say Vera is a top notch technical striker and that will be Jones’ undoing. Problem is Vera doesn’t do more than 2 shot combo’s anymore. Until Vera actually looks good and looks like he’s trying I’m done believing in him.

when jones fights machida. pick jones. jon jones’s speed beats machida’s elusiveness and even tito ortiz took down machida. when jones takes down machida expect the same brutal elbow that came down(and punches and hammerfists) on vera. they showed that elbow four times on sports nation on espn in slow motion.
