Upcoming Fights - Who's In And Who's Out

This past week provided us with a number of fight (and injury) announcements.  Here is a rundown of most of them - my apologies if I've missed any!

Star-divide

Frankie Edgar vs. Gray Maynard is scheduled for UFC 125 on January 1st.

Paul Daley vs. Scott Smith scheduled for Strikeforce: Henderson vs. Babalu on December 4th

Tom Blackledge is out of his UFC 120 fight against James McSweeney on October 16th.  Fabio Maldonado will replace him.

Antonio McKee vs. Jacob Volkmann is set for UFC 125.

Ed West vs. Zach Makovsky in the bantamweight tourney final will happen at Bellator 32 on October 14.

Ryan Bader vs. Jon Jones is scheduled for UFC 127 on February 5th.

Megumi Fujii vs. Zoila Frausto is scheduled to happen at Bellator 34 on October 28.

Anderson Silva vs. Vitor Belfort will finally go down at UFC 127.

Nate Marquardt vs. Yushin Okami is set for UFC 122 on November 13.

Lyman Good vs. Ben Askren will happen at Bellator 33, along with Roger Huerta vs. Eddie Alvarez,  on October 21.

In upsetting news, former Bellator featherweight champ Joe Soto has suffered a detached retina and will be out of action for at least a year.  Here's hoping that he's able to fully recover and won't experience any permanent damage to his vision.

I love Mo. He’s great, he makes me smile.
He’s going to be destroyed.
Same for Spong. And maybe Kyotaro as well.
And I’m so excited for Saki vs. Ghita that I can’t stand it!!

i see overeem in the final- maybe winning

Aerts could destroy mo. But who knows, he’s at that age where he could lose it any moment…mo could make his chin go shrugs

Semmy should beat kyotaro handily, and maybe have some damage done to him v. Aerts. Buthell make it to the finalfairly well in tact (or so I say)

Overeem is going to rape sponge. I canimagine that ghita v. Saki is going to get ugly and the winner won’t be close to 100% v. Overeem and thus get creamed.

Semmy v.ubereem in the final. Semmy issurely the favorite, but power is the great equalizer, and alistair has no lack of that. I look forwardtofinding out the overeem winsit all line
