UFC 106 Fights Announced

I find this picture fairly terrifying.

The UFC has announced two fights for the upcoming 106 event, which will take place on November 21st at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. As expected Brock Lesnar will defend his title against Shane Carwin. Also announced was a fight between Tito Ortiz and Mark Coleman.

I'm super jazzed about the Lesnar/Carwin fight as I think Carwin will really be able to give Lesnar a run for his money. Lesnar's size won't be such a factor as Carwin weighs in at 262 pounds. I'm not really a fan of Lesnar, as I think he tends to use a lay and pray "style" of fighting, but I can't really hate him as he has an eerie resemblance to our cousin, Jeff, minus about 70 pounds and 8 inches of neck width.

As for the Ortiz/Coleman fight, I can't wait to see if Coleman's win against Bonnar was the fluke some people are saying it was, or it he's back in a major way. One thing is for sure; between Lesnar and Ortiz, the boo-ing of the audience will probably be an impressive display.
