Spike to Air UFC 103 Undercard Live. Woot!

Yesterday UFC announced that Spike TV will be airing the UFC 103 undercard bouts live and commercial free. You can read the press release here. Color me excited! This is the first time that Spike TV has done this and I sure hope it's not the last. September 19th will be a long night, ladies and gents, so we'll be sure to post extra recipes and ideas for your event party. I know, it feels like Christmas right?
In a stunning turn of events 2 of our fighters with easily misinterpreted nicknames will be fighting. Are we psychic you ask? No, it's pure coincidence.

This is a great move, and hopefully one the UFC will do more often. Affliction was doing something similar, airing the undercard on HDNet, and it’s a great way to promote your brand and get people interested in the pay-per-view.
So hopefully they keep this up, because there have been so many good fights that people who only watch the pay-per-view miss out on. And the quality on the UFC site for those undercard fights leaves a lot to be desired.

I have been waiting to see a fight by the UF 8 winner Efrain Escudero and now it’s going to finally happen on the UFC 103 undercard live viewing. The Drew Mc Fedries and Cole Miller fights will give us an opportunity to view some guys who don’t get much TV coverage. Nice call SPIKE!
