Tattoo of the Week: Alessio Sakara, Take 2

I tend to prefer tattoos that are color rather than all black ink and I find it kind of off-putting that he's almost completely covered in the front, except for his stomach. Or, perhaps I'm letting his poor performance at UFC 101 (my first live event) color my judgement. Remember that snooze fest? Thoughts?

Its ugly… It probably wouldn’t be as bad if he were black, you know? Kinda like Gilvert Yvel

b&w is awesome
in movies, comics and subcutaneous ink.
Just strokes and folks, I guess. The thing I don’t go for is the horror vacui aesthetic with tattoos. Sure his belly is bare, but the arms and shoulders are so full of goop it looks more like a skin condition than a deliberate marking.

I prefer
simplistic, bold, colored tats. But I must say Legionario’s back is pretty bad ass…

Yes! It absolutely looks like a bra. I really want to hold him down and fill in his stomach with something.

That's what she said.
Hmm. Not sure if that works here.
