Koscheck Out, Swick In. The Gals Rejoice.

The Gals were pretty happy with the news that Josh Koscheck is out of his 109 fight against Paulo Thiago due to an undisclosed injury. I am convinced he has hurt his shoulder from carrying around his huge ego. Beth thinks there was some sort of hair bleaching incident. Beth, by the way, dislikes Koscheck almost as much as I dislike my arch-nemesis, CB Dollaway. We've been re-watching the first season of The Ultimate Fighter, and I seem to have forgotten what a hateful prick Koscheck really is.

Well, to make the news even sweeter, Mike Swick has been tapped to replace Koscheck in that fight. As you probably remember, Swick and Koscheck both train with AKA, so he seems a fitting replacement. I do like watching Swick fight, and I'm sure he's anxious to make us forget his loss to Dan Hardy. UFC 109 is scheduled for February 6th at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.

The only time

I’ve ever liked Kos was for the two minutes that he was in the chevelle video.

My interactions with Kos...

I asked him on Twitter if Natasha and Logan got canned for their interview in which they say he was faking the eye poke, and he responded with his infamous “They are dogpoopies” reply.

He failed to reply to my response of “That didn’t answer the question”

And yes, I’m still slightely butthurt they got canned for some Playboy chick. LAME

AKA Boys

I suppose this is where the AKA friendship is helpful. As much as I’m sick of them refusing to fight each other (but then calling out Hughes and GSP) if they can step up when one of them has to pull out of a fight, it keeps the injury curse from being too annoying at this point.

i like Swick v. Thiago better

more competitive in my view, as Koschek was probably going to revisit the first few minutes of their first fight, and this time not hop into a combo with his hands down, chin up, and looking down like a half-tard baboon
