Best and Worst of 2009: Worst Post Victory Celebration

Brock-lesnar25_medium

And the winner is.....Brock Lesnar.  It seems your WWE persona came out in full force after your win against Frank Mir at UFC 100.  It's not bad enough that you won the fight by laying on top of Mir and repeatedly punching him in the face.  I mean, who can escape that punishment when they've got more than a deuce and a half lying on top of them?  But no, you had to crown your acheivment by attempting to attack  a bloodied and bashed Mir, and insulting UFC 100's biggest sponsor and your wife in your post fight interview.  You did indeed put the ass in class.

Not very surpising

He and Mir have a hatred for each other!
Although, I though it was kind of funny how he bad mouthed Bud Lite and then was drinking one at the press conference.

Ha!

Yeah, needed some quick damage control after biting the hand that feeds him.

Can't say I agree

about the victory being a Lay N Pray, which seems to be what it is being equated too. I was impressed with Lesnar’s dominance, Mir knew Lesnar was going to come out and seek to GnP his face into mush. He didn’t defend the take down and wasn’t able to pull a sub out.

That being said, the remarks weren’t exactly appropriate in a sport that is trying to become mainstream. I get him being caught up in the heat of the moment, and I have to admit when I initially heard the comments I laughed. But that doesn’t make it right.

Then again this vs GSP back flip. At least Lesnar won’t potentially break a leg bad mouthing Mir or Bud Lite!

Oops

Didn’t mean to imply it was a lay and pray. More like, when you’ve got 300 pounds of Brock laying on top of you punching you in the face, you’re not going anywhere!

Yes, he said as much about Sable right after.

Without punching her in the face, though.
