PrintWe've joined SB Nation! I guess this means that we're legit and stuff now. You're going to notice that things look quite a bit different now, however, we both think that it's definitely for the better. Take a look around and have some fun, go ahead we dare you. For those awesome people that post comments on our site (we LOVE you), you will need to sign up for an SB Nation account if you don't already have one. We think it's worth it. You'll be able to post on any of SB Nation's other blogs as well. Just join the blog and voila, you can post comments. Just be sure to adhere to the rules of each blog.
Notice that toolbar at the top of the screen? After you join a blog, it will be listed under the My Blogs section. Neato, huh? Now you can easily jump to some of the other MMA sites on SB Nation including: Bloody Elbow, MMA Mania, Watch Kalib Run, MMA for Real, and Head Kick Legend. But wait, that's not all. SB Nation also has blogs for tons of other sports, so please explore to your hearts content. Just make sure to come back here please. We need the validation to fall asleep at night.

Has “The Voice” Michael Schiavello heard of you ladies yet? He is always name-dropping BloodyElbow and MMAJunkie during the Dream / K-1 / Sengoku events on HDNet. How come he hasn’t mentioned Gals Guide To MMA? How can we fix that?

I'm really glad!
I like the idea of a female oriented MMA site. I tend to lurk for a couple hours on the BE site a day but I find because the site is so well established there’s a rapport that I’m nervous to interrupt. It seems like this place will be a really great clean slate.
It’s great to have a place where I can learn things to bring up in MMA conversations but I also appreciate an area where it’s safe to say being GSP nut hugger doesn’t just mean I’m a big fan, without having to fear immediate condescension for only liking the sports because of men in tight shorts.

Not just another MMA site
Congratulations GALS!! I have loved your site since you started and look forward to the new toys that come with SB nation. Your fans appreciate your goal of providing an alternative to the “regular” sites that seem to be “cookie cutters” of one another. Keep up the great, “unique” work!
