Well kiddies, it's about that time. I've got a belly full of grilled cheese and bacon, Beth is sick as a dog, and New York is colder than Chieck Kongo at the weigh-in. Let's get it on!

Our friend Kris is in town, and we're trying to turn her into an MMA fan, so I've got my fingers crossed for some sick fights. This is the first time in awhile I'm really excited about most of the main card, and the fights are in HD! I'm ready for some sick BJ Penn cauliflower ear HD action.

Buentello vs. Struve - Eh, I really couldn't careless about Struve...wait, what? He's 6'11"? Stefan Struve is super dreamy! Buentello is looking old. You gotta kind of think that this one is a win-win for the UFC. If Struve wins, its new blood for a somewhat anemic heavyweight. IF Buentello wins, its great for the old guard. Struve really looks amazing here. I can't believe that this guys is only 21. He really has a great career ahead of him. Amazing 3 rounds of true battle. Struve by decision.

Kenny Florian vs. Clay Guida - So psyched for this one. I picked Florian to win, but I really don't know. Its going to depend on his new coach. I think of Florian as more of a classical "gentleman" style fighter, while Guida is a scrappy little neighborhood kid. I'm going strictly off of looks here. I could really get behind Guida if he would just cut his hair. Man, Guida is a bleeder. Giuda burps loudly while getting checked by the doctor. That's the Tennessee mating call. Florian easily gets in the rear naked choke and finishes Guida handily.

Jon Fitch vs. Mike Pierce - Mike Pierce has very, very pretty blue eyes. Mike Pierce is in big trouble against Jon Fitch. Maybe I'm wrong, but I just can't imagine Fitch losing this fight. He doesn't. Fitch wins a decision in a pretty boring fight.

Frank Mir vs. Cheick Kongo - I love me some my Frankie Mir. Cheick Kongo is rubbing me wrong. Granted Mir talks an amazing amount of shit. But Kongo needs to grow a pair. That's how athletes try to get in each others heads. Plus, he has scumbag of the century Ricco Rodriguez in his corner. Eww. Frank Mir comes out with his Dad. Aww. Let's hope Mir doesn't get fancy and takes Kongo down. He didn't get fancy. Mir chokes out Kongo for the win. YAY!!!

BJ Penn vs. Diego Sanchez - Bring on the crazy! Wow, BJ Penn does look like he's been sick. But even a sick BJ Penn is better than a 100% Diego Sanchez. I just love BJ Penn. Diego Sanchez just has no chance here. It's like a little league team playing against the Yankees and hoping for a win. Ain't gonna happen. Doesn't happen. Penn wins.
