Grove vs. Rosholt

I'm digging Kendall's longer hair. Make me want to run my greedy little fingers through it. Holy smokes! Fights over and I'm so jazzed that Grove won. It must be the mojo from the hair. Woot. Good start to the evening.

May I digress for a moment to mention how friggin' excited I am for my super duper extra special boyfriend Amir's fight? I had to put on comfy pants cause I'm afraid I might explode. I may be resorted to squealing like the theater full of pre-teen girls at the New Moon premiere. I will try to control myself, but I can't make any promises.

Sotiropoulos vs. Dent

I'm not sure why Dent bothers me so much, but he does. I have my reasons but they are petty and somewhat annoying. Like his posture really bothers me. When he fights he throws up his shoulders making him look like he has no neck and that really bothers me. Plus, I don't like to have to see his muffin top when he fights. See, catty reasons, but I can't help the way that I feel. I'm not really sure what Dana White sees in him. He reminds me of the drunk guy at the bar who agrees to fight someone for $100 and realizes as he steps in to the ring that he probably shouldn't be doing this. But maybe I'm just grumpy because I cut the top of my mouth while eating some delicious pizza for lunch.

I must digress again. I'm super bummed that we won't be seeing the Lesnar/Carwin fight tonight. I was really looking forward to that one.

Davis vs. Saunders

Wow, I can't get over Saunders ridiculous facial hair. If I was his lady friend I would shave it off when he was sleeping off a night of drinking and tell him that his buddies did it when he fell asleep first. Sneaky? Yes, but sometimes a woman's gotta do what a woman's gotta do. In the interest of actually talking about the fight, a height advantage sure seems to make a difference. Saunders barely has to lift his leg and he's kneeing Davis in the face. Saunders really looked great in this fight. Those friggin' knees of his are brutal. Now if he'd just shave that facial hair...

Larson vs. Foster

I have to be honest, I took a break to make some cookies. What did I miss? Oh, it appears that there is some did he get poked in the eye or kicked in the face or were his knees down controversy. I'm noticing that the producers don't have Joe Rogan's back when he asks for the replay. Damn you producer, you had better treat our past pantydropper with respect or you will have to deal with the Gals. Geez, Larsen just lost another point. I'm noticing a pathetic turn out for these fights so far. Hate to see the empty seats right up front. I would gladly fill one of those for them. Oh, in case you were wondering, the cookies are delicious! Nice victory backflip from Brian Foster. Well done, my friend.

Sadollah vs. Baroni

OMG, this is happening WAY too soon. I am not prepared for this. I thought I would have to few fights to get used to the idea. I must chill, I must chill. Baroni comes out to one of the most overplayed songs in the world. Why am I not surprised? I mean, we're both from Long Island so I should feel some kinship, but unfortunately for him he's fighting my immortal beloved so he must die. I LOVE HIM SO MUCH. Ooh, Cameron Diffley in his corner. It's a total hottie twofer. I really feel like I may vomit. My bowels feel like an overstuffed brautwurst about to explode. I feel that Baroni is gassed enough for me to comfortably watch the fight. I'm going to have to watch this fight again once I know who wins so I can actually enjoy it without all this damn anxiety. I don't know if I'll have the energy to make it through the Griffin/Ortiz fight. It's too much for my poor little heart to handle. Yippee, Amir wins! I'm sure gonna have to watch this fight again cause he rocked it. Such love feelings.

Nogueira vs. Cane

Nogueira's corner is like a who's who of kickassedness. Just seeing Silva on the other side of the Octagon must be somewhat of a psych out for Cane. I'm sucking down Diet Sierra Mist Cranberry Splash like a junkie. I may have to catch a meeting tomorrow. Wow, Nogueira brought an ass-beating with him in this one.

Thiago vs. Volkmann

Thiago scares me a little. I think I like it. Donna and I are having a good laugh cause some guy searched Google for
"wealthy females who secretly want panties down and spanked" and our site was the first to come up. Hilarious!

Koscheck vs. Johnson

So, Josh Koscheck is to me what C.B. Dolloway is to Donna. I really just dislike him intensely. And those feelings are only magnified by that hair of his. Grrrr. I'm hoping for a humiliating defeat for Koscheck. Fingers crossed!!! Am I hearing boos as Koscheck walks in or is that just my brain telling me what I want to hear? Oh crap, I really hope that this fight doesn't end because Johnson kneed Koscheck while he was down. I'd feel super cheated. I wish sometimes they'd do instant replays so that the ref could see that Johnson didn't kick his eye!!!!! What a injury faking POS Koscheck is. And then Koscheck hits Johnson with what looks like a blatant eye poke. I hate the Koscheck won this fight. It is now more important than ever that Forrest wins. My adrenaline high from Amir's win has almost worn off. And to make it worse he starts bitching about how he should be the next person to fight GSP. Wow, he just keeps getting worse. HATE FEELINGS.

Griffin vs. Ortiz

Tito Ortiz never bothered me before until I read Chuck Liddell's book. Now I really can't stand him. Add that on to the fact that he's fighting my beloved Forrest Griffin and I'm really hoping that he gets his arse kicked. Love that Griffin comes out to Chumbawamba. He makes me happy. Mom just called. She said Koscheck is an arrogant prick. She took the words right out of my mouth. I love watching Griffin fight. His chest hair always leaves me mesmerized. Oh my goodness, this fight is going to go to a decision. I hate that. I really wanted to see Griffin knock out Ortiz. Oh well. Here's hoping the judges don't blow it. But it really was a tough fight to call. SO happy that Forrest won that.

And on that note, I'm going to discuss the fights with my Mom and then pass out for the night. Good night of fights. I laughed, I cried, I raged over Josh Koscheck. Until next time. :)
