UFC 106: Random Thoughts and Ramblings

Since I heard yesterday's news that Forrest Griffin is stepping in for Mark Coleman to fight Tito Ortiz, I have to admit that I'm feeling strangely ambivalent about it. I feel like this is a must win for both fighters, and there's nothing I'd like to see more than for Forrest to make Ortiz his chew toy. Ortiz is saying he's in the best shape of his life, but of course that's what they always say. Of course Forrest lost to Ortiz at UFC 59, but he's a much different fighter now, and I don't think that can be used as any indicator of how this fight will go. Can't wait to see how this one plays out. So far, 106 is shaping up to be one hell of a event, and I can't wait to see the Lesnar vs Carwin fight as well as the Sadollah vs. Baroni match.
