What the Hell is Dirty Boxing?

When used in MMA, dirty boxing refers to clinch fighting. A fighter will clinch his hands around his opponents neck and punch, kick, and throw elbows to his opponents face will pulling down on his neck.

Ladies, think of this as the none-too-subtle "pull down on her head to let her know I want a bj" with punches, kicks and elbows thrown in.

It’s often referred to as dirty boxing because in boxing, those things are illegal. These things are hard for the referee to see so the fighter is more likely to get away with it, hence dirty boxing.
