The Ultimate Fighter Episode 6 Recap

After last night's TUF episode, my dislike of Rampage Jackson is fully formed and taking on a life of its own. Jackson is nothing but a bully, and if there's one thing I hate, it's a bully. (Well, that's not true. There's a ton of crap I hate, but bullies are pretty high on the list). Jackson's refusal to stop calling Darill Schoonover "Titties", despite the fact that people have pretty much stopped laughing at the joke is ridiculous. I was happy to see Darill stand up for himself.
Jackson has been saying that he's been edited to make him look bad. Well, they can definitely make sure to add all the footage of you being a jackass, but in the end, you were the one who decided to be a jackass. They can't make you look bad if you don't act like a jerk. Rampage's shitty attitude has apparently rubbed off on his team. They spend quite a bit of time dicking around, making collages, and busting Zak Jensen's balls. Someone needs to remind these a-holes that they haven't managed to win one fight.
When the fight between Darill and Zak was announced, I couldn't help but think it was going to be the fight from the Land of Misfit Toys. These two guys have taken the brunt of the teasing, both in training and at the house, so I figured they'd both have some pent up rage to get out. In the end, Darill does a pretty handy job of submitting Zak in a triangle, and Team Evans is 6 - 0.
On a final note, my inappropriate reaction award goes to Kimbo Slice, who, upon seeing Zak with a cut above his eye, raises his hands in victory. Rather than take a moment to check on the well-being of his teammate, he automatically assumed this meant he'd get to step in. I couldn't have been happier when Zak turned out to be fine.

I know that I can’t be the only one who is completely disappointed with this season’s show! I could care less about Kimbo and am disappointed for the guys on the show who are taking the opportunity seriously and have gotten little or no show time! Jackson has certainly shown himself to be a self-centered, petty, and immature jackass!

Although I find the whole “Titties” thing to just be normal guy ball busting, I am thoroughly disappointed with Rampage’s regard for his team. He says he is a fighter, not a coach-well then he shouldn’t have signed up for the job. In the past I was not a Rashad fan, but he has clearly shown another sid eof himself on the show and is truly there to help these guys get to the next level and achieve their dreams.
The season as a whole has been pretty bunk to me-but I’ll continue watching because I just love fighting THAT much.
Alos: I lurve your blog and am thrilled to have come across it.

Oh Cat! We lurve you too! I have the same feeling about Rashad. I was totally ambivalent about him before this season, but now he seems like such a good guy.
